• To sustainably evolve, we set a new goal each year. Our first goal has been achieved; launching with recycled labelling and packaging. Nature is ever-changing in response to our actions and we need to support it while we go about our business, big or small.

barry made is small and that’s how we’d like to keep it, so that you know you’re wearing unique and special, and we can limit waste — we carefully order each style to make what our retailers need, and for our customers without a local boutique you can find a small amount of your favourite pieces on our online store.

We are committed to trying our best, learning, and being kind to ourselves and others throughout the process.

  • No disposal of unsold garments: We make what our retailers need, and allow for a small quantity to be sold online. ‘Who Gives A Crap toilet paper: At our office we use environmentally friendly toilet paper from ‘Who Gives A Crap’, to help build toilets for those in need. No fabric wastage: We buy with a purpose. All fabrics purchased for production are put to use, or up-cycled. 100% recycled packaging and labelling: Our labels, hangtags and bags are eco-friendly, made from 100% recycled cotton and paper. Recycle our coffee pods: As a team that loves morning coffee, we drop our coffee pods to the nearest collection point. Recycle our boxes: We’ll find a way to recycle all boxes delivered to our warehouse, no matter the shape or size. Glass water bottles: Our staff have their own labelled glass drink bottles to reduce plastic in the workplace. No Plastic: When working with caterers (for photoshoots), no plastic is involved in the preparation or serving of food and beverages. Recycled paper: Paperwork from shipping documentation is recycled and used in-house for note-taking and collateral.
